HEART

The HEART project

HEART combines advanced virtual reality, haptic force-feedback gloves, and state-of-the-art robotics into a single training environment. Through the MasterXR platform, users enter a virtual workspace wearing the SenseGlove force-feedback glove, allowing them to remotely teleoperate a robotic arm equipped with Aeon Robotics HandEffector gripper. This integrated setup transfers not only the user’s motions to the robot, but also the robot’s force feedback—enabling the operator to “feel” the forces exerted by the robot as though handling physical objects firsthand. By capturing and transmitting subtle changes in grip force, the system enables precise manipulation of delicate or complex objects across diverse settings.

Technology

By blending VR-based scenario design with real-world robotic control, HEART enables novices—such as students, apprentices, and other learners—to quickly master complex robotic tasks without prior programming knowledge. The MasterXR platform makes it easy to create and adjust training scenarios, fostering an accessible, hands-on learning experience. Thanks to this unique combination of immersive technology and direct force feedback, users can develop skills and confidence more rapidly than through conventional training methods.
