MRP

Magos Robot Programming

Many industrial processes, particularly complex packaging, and assembly tasks, continue to be performed manually due to their high dexterity requirements and complexity.

MAGOS ROBOT PROGRAMMING (MRP), aims to overcome these challenges by developing an advanced Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) solution that enables robots to precisely mimic human hand motions using Magos haptic gloves.

MRP will be developed by Q&Q, in partnership with Probot, leveraging their extensive experience in the robotics industry.

By utilizing Magos gloves, we will deliver a state-of-the-art system that integrates seamlessly with MASTER’s XR platform.

This collaboration will result in an innovative solution, enhancing XR experiences and enabling professionals and students to develop advanced projects using MRP.

While our primary focus is on the TC-7 challenge, the versatility and precision of MRP also address key aspects of the TC-5 challenge. Our XR-based system facilitates intuitive robot programming, allowing users to quickly adapt and reconfigure robotic tasks in response to changing production needs. This dual capability enhances the overall impact and applicability of our solution.

Technology

MRP leverages Magos haptic gloves, renowned for their superior finger tracking accuracy, to create an advanced digital simulation.

Users can interact with and feel the digital environment through their fingers, providing precise instructions to a simulated robotic system.

These movements are translated into detailed instructions and trajectories, enabling diverse robotic systems equipped with highly articulated hand grippers to replicate complex tasks with high dexterity.
